Thanks to all who contribute. Let em fly when you get em. CKO, GS, and Marc Lawrence tanked last week. By my calculations, CKO went 3-4-1; GS went 1-3, and Lawrence went 0-4 (including the 5*, 4*, 3* and Upset of Week).

As far as I can tell, I won on Lawrence's 4* Titans and his 3* total Lions v Seahawks over. Plus, front page of Covers says he went 4-0 this weekend in NFL. Just a heads-up...

Hey, I don't know anyting about this thread, i hang out alot in the fade lang thread. Just curious about the Marc Lawrence stats you have & from where. What I got was he went 2-0 on Sat & 3-0 on Sunday. Pretty sure all were dogs that won SU. Just confused, please fill me in. Did he give other picks I don't know about? I know his free picks are usually shit! But thats understandable, when you get his premium paid picks though they are GOLDEN. To the best of my memory he had Ariz as top play, TN as middle, & then Cincy on Sunday. On Sat he had 2 dogs that won SU. You can check them on the Service plays pg. Just confused if you can help me. I've always been a fan of Marcs. On of the good guys in a sea of mushes if you ask me!

you are correct in College he was 0-4 but in the NFL he was 6-0. He had Bucks, Titans, Cards and on the totals he had the over in the Seahawks and Bears gams and the under in the Patriots game.

ok, I was confused. I don't get his newsletter anymore. His newsletter is picks according to his systems, like ones in the blackbook or playbook. They should hit over 60% season long. I'm talking about his weekly subscription picks. You pay, for a week, month, season, & every week his picks are solid! He went 3-0 in NFL
5* AZ won SU
4* TN won SU
3* TB won SU
Sat he went 2-0
Neb +4 won SU
Stanford +7 won SU

Marc is a dog guy. 90% of his picks are going to be dogs, which shows me hes a smart man! His slogan is "when you bet a dog 3 things can happen & 2 of them are good"
I use alot of his system situations when I handicap a game. When you see he's on a side though, I don't care who's on the opposite or if you just don't like it, you better go with it or don't play it! He's hands down the best handicapper in the business & I've been doing this for 15 years.

Damn, guess I need to start monitoring his weekly picks. Are these usually posted in the daily service threads? When are his Saturday NCAA picks usually posted, Friday or Saturday? It's just such a pain sometimes to filter through pages and pages of posts looking for one or two handicappers. Thanks for the info though.

Man, it takes 5 minutes. just scroll thru & if they're not up by 11:00am people start requesting them or somebody buys them & posts. Once you subscribe to his season pkg he sends them by email to you late fri night or early sat.
I used to watch his TV show years ago & he would give about 5 picks. Now these wouldn't necessarily be his PAID picks he would release Sat morn, but they made money over the season, kinda like his newsletter.

Few years ago before forums like this were real popular where everybody shared their info, I purchased his NCAA bowl package. I had never bought picks before. But I had been following him on his TV show & saw the value he put in dogs & how solid he was. It's been a while but I think his paid bowl picks went 18-5-1!!!! Best New Years Eve party EVER!!!! I was sold on Marc then & there.
I've kinda got into the cappin biz since then & most these guys are toutin' scum! Take Link/Lang for instance.

Sorry, as I said earlier, I never feel like filtering through pages and pages only looking for his picks. Of course, that's my own damn fault. Thanks for the heads up though.

As for SoCar...there's not enough time in the day to discuss their shortcomings this year. For starters, OL sucks, SOS is getting too conservative and being too passive in the play calling, etc. etc. Same old tired ass story.

I know what you mean. It just struck me when I saw you guys postin his losing record, I was like WTF???? Take little time to look, it's well worth it! I'm a big SEC guy too, my blood runs orange GO VOLS!
I just hate to see Spurrier gettin run all over, hes one of the greats. It's funny, I'm from Johnson City, TN & our little town is known for 2 things. Al Capone used to hide out here & Steve is from here. But nobody wants to talk about or admit either one@)
